LKY exists to provide Christian competitive athletic opportunities for homeschool families in the Greater Louisville, Kentucky area.
Vision of LKY
LKY desires to teach student-athletes how to honor Christ and compete in their sport. LKY seeks to partner with parents to cultivate a biblical worldview of competition and sport as we emphasize how the gospel cultivates Christlike character specifically in the field of competition. Our vision includes building sports programs and not simply individual teams, allowing the homeschool athlete to grow up in a program under the same Christian organization for all of the years they participate in a sport.

History
of LKY Saints
LKY Saints began when two homeschooling families decided to start separate Christ-honoring, competitive basketball and baseball teams. Their desire was for high-quality coaching and organizational excellence, and for Christ to be exalted above the teams, the athletes, or the sports.
It didn’t take long for other homeschooling families to be drawn to the culture created by those teams. Out of those two programs came Louisville Homeschool Athletics, or LKY Saints. Founded in 2021, LKY Saints offers homeschool students a competitive sports program that emphasizes character and skill development across six sports, and uniquely gives homeschool athletes the opportunity to grow with the same athletic community through their K-12 career.
Altogether, LKY Saints is made up of over thirty teams with over three hundred and fifty athletes, and competes in several hundred interscholastic games across six sports. LKY plays a hybrid schedule including both KHSAA and homeschool organizations. Most importantly, LKY offers each athlete and family a vision of the glory of Jesus Christ through the gift of sports.

Community Night
Please join us for a family fun night as we celebrate our LKY Community! Come hear from our Executive Board about the future vision for LKY, spend some time meeting LKY Program Directors and Coaches, and fellowship with other Saints families.
We will have a parking lot full of games, bounce houses, and opportunities to enjoy a family evening, in addition to food for purchase. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Leadership
Dedication Night
Please join us for a time of prayer and praise as we gather with those in LKY leadership roles to dedicate the upcoming year to the Lord. This event is for all LKY coaches, program directors, board members, and others serving in leadership roles. Spouses and children are welcome to attend.
We will provide dinner at 6pm in the gym, and move into the sanctuary around 7pm for a time of prayer and praise.
