Amy Scholtz
Program Director
Amy Scholtz serves as the Volleyball Program Director for LKY Saints; she, her husband Alex, and their three children–Clayton, Olivia, and Emma–have been with LKY since its formation. While the whole family is passionate about volleyball (and rarely travels without one!), Amy and Alex are also passionate about serving children with intellectual and physical disabilities. They are the founders of Path Forward of Kentucky, an agency helping children and adults with various levels of disabilities, and as a family the Scholtzes enjoy volunteering through Special Olympics and other disability-related events. As the mother of athletes, Amy loves LKY’s focus on both sports and Christ-like character; as a Program Director, her prayer is that coaches, athletes, and parents alike would honor Christ both on and off the court, and that they would have an impact for His kingdom through their interactions with other teams and families.
Jennifer Clark
Varsity Head Coach
Jennifer Clark is the head varsity coach for the LKY Saints Girls’ and Boys’ Volleyball Programs. Her volleyball career began in a field at her grandparents’ house when she was only 5 years old, then she graduated to organized sports in fourth grade at her private school. She played volleyball through high school and for two years at Centre College; when she met the love of her life, Brian, on a volleyball court in Louisville, she returned home and they immediately began coaching together. She has coached various ages and platforms (club, private, public, homeschool) since 1996, has officiated for twenty years, and has focused on high school teams since 2016. While Jennifer loves coaching volleyball, her greatest joy and privilege is using the sport to lead people to Jesus. This year, her prayer is that each of her players would learn to embody Jesus’ humility by celebrating their teammates’ successes more than their own.
