Boys’ Teams
High School Team
LKY will offer a JV and Varsity Boys’ Soccer Team for the 2026 fall season.
TRYOUTS
Tryouts will take place on June 19 – 20 at Louisville Champion Soccer Fields (2050 River Rd). Tryout fee: $15.
Times: Friday, 6-8 pm; Saturday, 10 am – 12 pm.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Practices will typically be twice a week (Monday and Thursday, 5:30-7:00pm), with scrimmage opportunities on Saturday mornings. Games are played on week nights or Saturdays, typically. Typically there are two or three games per week; when possible, both the teams will play back to back at the same location. Games begin early August. The high school team will go to a national tournament in October 23-25 (additional tournament details to come.)
COST
In 2024 the cost was $380 per athlete. Prices subject to change for 2026.
UNIFORMS
Game uniforms are provided by the team; if a player has a uniform from the previous season they can reuse, they will receive a $25 discount upon registration by using discount code:

Middle School Teams
LKY will offer two middle school co-ed soccer teams for the 2026 fall season for 5th – 8th grade athletes.

Elementary School Teams
LKY will offer two elementary school co-ed soccer teams for the 2026 fall season for 1st – 4th grade athletes (up to 10 years old). Practices begin July 21. Registration will open mid-June.

Ian Lawrence
Program Director
Ian Lawrence, LKY Saints Varsity Boys’ Soccer coach, has been coaching soccer for eight years. He loves not only the game, but also the ability to coach a team grounded in a Christian identity. If you were to ask him his favorite part of coaching soccer, he would be hard pressed to choose just one! The individual and team aspects of the sport, the strategy, the different skills displayed by each position, and the opportunity for both new and seasoned players to excel offer just a few reasons to love the sport. Beyond the game, however, he is passionate about coaching for an organization that focuses on honoring Christ in all things. He and his wife Megan have been married for almost nineteen years and live in Louisville with their four children: Cohen, Isaac, Luke, and Josie.
Jayden Frazier
Varsity Head Coach
Jayden Frazier has been named the Boys Varsity Soccer Coach at LKY, following two seasons as an assistant coach for both the Varsity and JV teams. A Louisville native, Jayden brings years of soccer playing experience at both the local club level with Javanon and the collegiate level, where he played four years at Cedarville University. Jayden is passionate about integrating coaching with Christian discipleship and character development. Outside of soccer, he is heavily involved in creative media, enjoying photography, videography, and drone technology. He also serves on the media team at his local church. Jayden is excited to partner with LKY’s faith-based culture and invest in the next generation of student-athletes.
