LKY Saints Girls Basketball 2025 National Champions

2025 National Champions

Congratulations to our Girls High School Program who ended the season winning the East Coast National Championship 17u Girls Division. This year, our Varsity team finished the season 24-8 including winning the Ohio River Valley Homeschool Conference Tournament (ORHC) and finishing as runner up at the National Christian Homeschool Midwest Regional Championship Girls 16u Division. Returning all of our roster, we anticipate continued success through our Lady Saints Program!

June 16-18 – Summer Camp for incoming 2rd-8th grade players (9am-12pm, WBBC, $100/athlete, register today on our summer camp page)

Kristi McCartney

Program Director | Varsity Head Coach

Kristi McCartney serves as the Girls’ Basketball Program Director and Girls’ Varsity Basketball coach, as well as serving on the Executive Board for LKY. Kristi fell in love with basketball as an awkward fifth grade girl and hasn’t looked back since! She played through middle school, high school, and college, scoring 1,000 points at both the high school and collegiate levels throughout her career. After graduating college, she began coaching at the JV level and has been coaching ever since! Kristi loves the challenge presented in basketball of trying to control mental, emotional, and physical factors as possession changes almost every thirty seconds. 

Her prayer for her teams this year is that God would make His name great, and use basketball to develop godly character in each of her athletes.
